Federated BIM model, mixed-use development

Systematized BIM services in Brisbane.

Production, coordination and governance to ISO 19650, delivered as a full BIM team for consultants, contractors and developers. No internal hire, no management overhead.

Queensland's pipeline is set through 2032. JES adds the capacity without the hiring.

When a whole region scales at once, every firm chases the same senior modellers and coordinators. A delivered team adds capacity in weeks rather than recruitment cycles. Your packages run on a stable offshore floor with its own QA, while Brisbane hours go to clients and decisions.

Eight capabilities, no supplier chain to assemble

The full BIM scope from one supplier, so each new project starts from an established system instead of a fresh procurement.

  • 3D BIM modelling

Revit and Navisworks production across architecture, structure and MEP, one authoring standard however many packages run at once.

  • Revit family creation

Custom Revit content to your standards and LOD spec, accumulating into a library that speeds every next job.

  • 4D, 5D and 6D simulation

4D programme, 5D cost and 6D performance views generated from coordinated geometry, one model behind all three.

  • Shop drawings & detailing

Shop drawings to fabrication tolerance, coordinated in the federation before trades put them to work.

  • Scan to BIM

Existing assets scanned and modelled accurately, supporting the upgrades and extensions a growing city demands.

  • CAD to BIM conversion

Older drawing sets converted into coordinated models, putting existing stock on the same footing as new builds.

  • BIM for facility management

Asset information structured for CAFM import as the project runs, ready the day the keys change hands.

  • Quantity take-off & BOQ

Model-based take-off aligned to your measurement rules, so every commercial conversation starts from the same geometry.

Three sets of eyes before it leaves.

Every JES deliverable moves through a fixed Author-Checker-Approver gate, tracked in the CDE. The same standard whether it's engineer 3 or engineer 250.

Author
Model and documentation produced to the MIDP task card. Self-review against the project QA checklist before submission.
Status: WIP
Checker
Independent review against the BEP and federated model. Defects logged, deviation report returned to Author.
Output: Deviation report
Approver
Signed off against EIR and LOIN. Promoted from WIP to Shared or Published in the CDE.
Status: Published

Without the gate, busy markets compound their own errors: rushed packages clash on site, checking gets cut at exactly the wrong moment, and handover information trails the opening date. JES holds every file at Author-Checker-Approver review before it issues, however hard the deadline pushes.

Proven through a construction surge

Common questions about BIM in Brisbane

Both. We produce the coordinated models, drawings and federation and we govern the standards behind them: the BEP, the CDE and the Author-Checker-Approver gate on every file. One accountable team owns both, not a consultancy that advises next to a shop that draws. In a market where every firm is hiring, that single source of production and governance holds the work steady.

Yes. We work as a dedicated, outsourced BIM team running on a stable offshore floor with its own QA, so a region-wide scale-up no longer has you chasing the same senior modellers as everyone else. One delivery lead owns the programme and capacity is added in weeks rather than recruitment cycles. Your Brisbane hours go to clients and decisions instead.

Yes. Our BIM consultants embed in your delivery, set the BEP and LOD schedule and hold the work to ISO 19650, with one named lead accountable across the programme. They run their own QA on a stable offshore floor, so a deadline-driven decade does not depend on winning a local recruitment race. The information backbone is in place from the start.

Yes. We process laser scans into a registered point cloud and then a verified record model that matches what actually stands on site. That measured base is what every discipline coordinates against, supporting the upgrades and extensions a fast-growing city demands. You get record models documenting what was actually delivered, from one reliable reference the whole team works to.

Architectural, structural and MEP, authored in Revit and federated in Navisworks on one model. We run regular clash cycles and hold every file through Author-Checker-Approver review against your BEP before issue, to construction tolerance. On a building boom the multi-trade clashes are resolved in the model before they become site delays, however hard the deadline pushes.

Cost follows scope, the disciplines involved, the LOD you specify and the programme length, so a terminal package carries more than a single resort block. We scope each engagement to the actual work, not a flat day rate. The lowest-risk way to see it is a zero-cost pilot on one package, where you judge the output and the QA gate before scaling up.
