Federated BIM model, mixed-use development

Systematized BIM services in Hungary.

Production, coordination and governance to ISO 19650, delivered as a full BIM team for consultants, contractors and developers. No internal hire, no management overhead.

Hiring a BIM team in Hungary is a fixed cost against a variable pipeline. We deliver the capacity instead.

A team hired for one programme has to be carried through the gap before the next, and the Budapest market makes both halves expensive. JES converts that fixed risk into delivered output: 260+ engineers on call, European-hours coordination through our German office, an Author-Checker-Approver record behind every file.

Eight capabilities, none of them headcount

The complete model-side scope from a single supplier, engaged per project, with no fixed cost left behind when it ends.

  • 3D BIM modelling

Architecture, structure and MEP modelled in Revit under one documented standard, federated as standard practice.

  • Revit family creation

Custom families to your library rules and LOD specification, delivered as reusable assets.

  • 4D, 5D and 6D simulation

4D programme simulation, 5D cost integration and 6D performance data where the project's reporting requires it.

  • Shop drawings & detailing

Coordinated shop drawings at fabrication tolerance, cleared against the federated model before issue.

  • Scan to BIM

Scan data modelled into reliable existing-condition geometry for Budapest's substantial retrofit stock.

  • CAD to BIM conversion

Flat 2D archives rebuilt into structured 3D models, giving long-lived assets a current digital record.

  • BIM for facility management

Operations-ready data structured during delivery: asset codes, warranties and maintenance schedules in CAFM form.

  • Quantity take-off & BOQ

Quantities drawn from the coordinated model and mapped to your cost plan, keeping tender, valuation and final account consistent.

Three sets of eyes before it leaves.

Every JES deliverable moves through a fixed Author-Checker-Approver gate, tracked in the CDE. The same standard whether it's engineer 3 or engineer 250.

Author
Model and documentation produced to the MIDP task card. Self-review against the project QA checklist before submission.
Status: WIP
Checker
Independent review against the BEP and federated model. Defects logged, deviation report returned to Author.
Output: Deviation report
Approver
Signed off against EIR and LOIN. Promoted from WIP to Shared or Published in the CDE.
Status: Published

Run it without the gates and the exposure doubles: programme slip, trade clashes, audit non-conformities and handover data gaps, each landing while you also carry the fixed cost of an in-house team. JES removes both exposures: variable capacity, with a named author, checker and approver logged on every file.

Proven across the Gulf portfolio

Large resort programmes, metro lines and airport packages, all delivered under ISO 19650 by the same team that would serve your project.

Common questions about BIM in Hungary

Both. We produce the models, coordination and drawings across all disciplines and we govern the standards: the CDE, the naming and the exchange workflow run for you. One accountable team does both, turning the EIR from tender language into daily practice. You are not managing a consultancy that advises and a separate shop that draws on the same payroll.

Yes. You get a dedicated outsourced BIM team under one named lead, 260+ engineers on call, so a team hired for one programme no longer has to be carried through the gap before the next. Capacity is variable and scales against the programme. Coordination runs on European hours through our German office, with a named record behind every file.

Yes. Our consultants embed in your delivery, set the BEP and LOD schedule and hold the work to ISO 19650, coordinated on European hours through our German office. One named lead stays accountable across the programme, and an Author-Checker-Approver record sits behind every file, so you get governance without carrying the fixed cost of an in-house team.

Yes. We run laser scan to registered point cloud to a coordinated record model, giving reliable existing-condition geometry for Budapest's substantial retrofit stock. Architectural, structural and MEP coordinate against that verified base. Deviations are included in the record, so the model documents the building as it stands rather than as the design assumed.

Architectural, structural and MEP. We author them in Revit and federate them in Navisworks with regular clash cycles on one model, authored, checked and approved against the BEP before issue. Trade coordination and drawing volume are handled off your payroll, so the site receives resolved information without your technical office having to grow to carry it.

Cost follows scope, the disciplines involved, the LOD you need and the programme length, so we scope each engagement to the actual work rather than a flat rate. Variable capacity costs less than carrying an in-house team through the gap between programmes. The zero-cost pilot on one package lets you see the output and the QA first.
