Federated BIM model, mixed-use development

Systematized BIM services in Norway.

Production, coordination and governance to ISO 19650, delivered as a full BIM team for consultants, contractors and developers. No internal hire, no management overhead.

Your market specified IFC first. We deliver it validated.

Statsbygg-era requirements made clean IFC, model checking and data discipline the baseline you work to. We deliver IFC-first and validate before issue, with production depth a small labour market cannot supply on demand.

Eight capabilities, native and IFC

The full scope delivered native or open as your project demands, from one team with one QA regime.

  • 3D BIM modelling

Revit and Civil 3D production with disciplined IFC export, federated and clash-managed across all disciplines.

  • Revit family creation

Content built with clean parameter mapping, so families carry their data through IFC instead of losing it at export.

  • 4D, 5D and 6D simulation

4D sequencing and 5D cost on the coordinated model, with 6D data structured to open standards where required.

  • Shop drawings & detailing

Shop drawings coordinated against the federated model, issued at installation tolerance with their checking record.

  • Scan to BIM

Point clouds processed into as-built models delivered in native and IFC formats, for renewal and documentation work.

  • CAD to BIM conversion

Legacy 2D documentation rebuilt as data-rich models that pass the same validation gates as new work.

  • BIM for facility management

Open-format handover data validated against your requirements, ready for your FM environment on day one.

  • Quantity take-off & BOQ

Model-based take-off with provenance per element, so quantities hold up in any review.

Three sets of eyes before it leaves.

Every JES deliverable moves through a fixed Author-Checker-Approver gate, tracked in the CDE. The same standard whether it's engineer 3 or engineer 250.

Author
Model and documentation produced to the MIDP task card. Self-review against the project QA checklist before submission.
Status: WIP
Checker
Independent review against the BEP and federated model. Defects logged, deviation report returned to Author.
Output: Deviation report
Approver
Signed off against EIR and LOIN. Promoted from WIP to Shared or Published in the CDE.
Status: Published

The capacity risk in a mature market is specific: suppliers who claim openBIM fluency and deliver IFC exports that fail validation. Every JES deliverable is checked before issue, and the three-signature record names who checked it.

Delivered in open formats

Airports, metros and cultural buildings coordinated to ISO 19650 across the Gulf. The pilot costs nothing, and your own checkers give the verdict.

Common questions about BIM in Norway

Both. We produce the discipline models, drawings and coordination, and we govern the standards behind them: the BEP, the CDE and the gate every file clears. That means one accountable team delivering validated IFC and native models to the Statsbygg-era baseline you work to, not a consultancy that advises alongside a shop that draws.

Yes. You get a dedicated outsourced BIM team under one named delivery lead, with production depth a small labour market cannot supply on demand. Capacity scales up for a busy programme and back down after, so you carry no permanent bench. Every deliverable is checked before issue and named against three signatures.

Yes. Our consultants embed in your delivery, set the BEP and LOD schedule and hold the work to ISO 19650 in an openBIM environment. One named lead stays accountable across the programme, so exchange requirements are honoured and every IFC export reads cleanly through your own validation tools before you accept it.

Yes. We run laser scan to registered point cloud to a coordinated record model, delivered in native and open formats so it outlives any single software choice. That verified base is what architectural, structural and MEP all coordinate against. It suits renewal and documentation work where the existing asset was never modelled to a current standard.

Architectural, structural and MEP, authored in Revit and federated in Navisworks with regular clash cycles on one model. Every file is authored, checked and approved against the BEP before issue, and delivered as parallel native and validated IFC. You receive a resolved set your checkers can read in whichever format your project requires.

Cost follows scope, the disciplines involved, the LOD you need and the programme length, so we scope each engagement to the actual work rather than a flat rate. An IFC-validated infrastructure package carries more than a single building. The zero-cost pilot on one package lets your own checkers judge the output and the validation first.
