Federated BIM model, mixed-use development

Systematized BIM services in Iraq.

Production, coordination and governance to ISO 19650, delivered as a full BIM team for consultants, contractors and developers. No internal hire, no management overhead.

Infrastructure and energy programmes outrun the hiring market behind them.

Power, oil and gas, water and civic infrastructure move on national timelines, while the modellers, coordinators and information managers they need are in short supply on the ground. JES supplies that capacity as a working team of 260+ engineers, so a plant package, a utilities scheme or a reconstruction programme joins a proven delivery system instead of waiting on recruitment.

Every capability, none of the overhead

The whole BIM scope from one team, so adding a service never means onboarding another supplier mid-programme.

  • 3D BIM modelling

Full-discipline Revit production with Civil 3D and Navisworks federation across building and infrastructure work, run to a single modelling standard.

  • Revit family creation

Office-standard Revit families authored to your graphics, parameters and LOD specification, from architectural components to plant and equipment.

  • 4D, 5D and 6D simulation

Sequencing, cost and performance data linked to the model, so a week of slip on a critical infrastructure package is seen before it carries through every following stage.

  • Shop drawings & detailing

Shop drawings detailed to fabrication tolerance and coordinated against the federation before they leave JES.

  • Scan to BIM

Point clouds processed into verified models for brownfield and existing-asset work, and for progress verification across large sites.

  • CAD to BIM conversion

Legacy 2D information rebuilt into coordinated BIM, so earlier projects and existing assets can join a current data environment.

  • BIM for facility management

Handover data structured for CAFM import, so operators run infrastructure and energy assets from the model from day one.

  • Quantity take-off & BOQ

Model-based BOQ production from coordinated geometry, keeping estimates anchored to the model across the whole programme.

Three sets of eyes before it leaves.

Every JES deliverable moves through a fixed Author-Checker-Approver gate, tracked in the CDE. The same standard whether it's engineer 3 or engineer 250.

Author
Model and documentation produced to the MIDP task card. Self-review against the project QA checklist before submission.
Status: WIP
Checker
Independent review against the BEP and federated model. Defects logged, deviation report returned to Author.
Output: Deviation report
Approver
Signed off against EIR and LOIN. Promoted from WIP to Shared or Published in the CDE.
Status: Published

Without that gate, scale becomes the risk: a recurring modelling error multiplies across a programme, interface slip compounds between packages, and audit findings surface at stage gate on a nationally visible project. JES files carry a named Author-Checker-Approver trail you can put in front of a client, a funder or an auditor.

Proven across the Gulf

Metro lines, airport terminals, towers and resort programmes delivered in the Gulf on tight schedules, run on the same ISO 19650 system an infrastructure or energy programme needs. A sample below.

Common questions about BIM in Iraq

Both. We produce the models, drawings and coordination, and we govern them through the BEP, the CDE and the Author-Checker-Approver gate. One accountable team carries the work, not a consultancy advising beside a shop that draws. Across building and infrastructure disciplines, you get production and standards from a single delivery lead.

Yes. A delivery lead owns your programme, backed by 260+ engineers on one system, so a plant, utilities or reconstruction package joins a proven pipeline rather than waiting on hiring. The modellers and coordinators these programmes need are in short supply on the ground. We bring the working team to the package count and scale it against the programme.

Yes. Our BIM consultants embed in your delivery, set the BEP and LOD and hold the work to ISO 19650, with one named lead accountable across the programme. A utilities scheme or reconstruction package runs on a proven system from day one, across a large and dispersed supply chain. Your information plan holds from the lead consultant to the last subcontractor.

Yes. We run laser scan to point cloud to a verified record model for brownfield and existing-asset work, and for progress verification across large sites. That base is what every discipline coordinates against, so each phase closes with evidence of what was actually built. It gives infrastructure programmes a defensible construction record stage by stage.

We model architectural, structural and MEP in Revit, federate in Navisworks and run regular clash cycles on one model, across building and infrastructure disciplines. Every file is authored, checked and approved against the BEP before issue, at construction tolerance. On remote or access-constrained sites, conflicts are resolved in the model before they cost time on the ground.

Cost follows scope, disciplines, the LOD you need and programme length, so we scope each engagement to the actual work rather than a flat day rate. A plant package carries more than a single utilities scheme. A zero-cost pilot on one package lets you see the output and the QA gate before the wider programme commits.
